What are email aliases?

Email aliases are not literal email boxes, but a reference to a literal email box.  This allows you to have any number of email addresses even if your hosting account only allows, say 10 email boxes.

By adding email aliases, you can have 20, or 30 or more email addresses.

Email aliases point to an existing email box.
